Mission
Sugama Foundation is dedicated to empowering communities by ensuring that every individual has the tools to build a better life. Founded in 2018 in Bangalore and now headquartered in Jamshedpur, our mission is to break down barriers and uplift lives through three core commitments: delivering quality education, providing essential healthcare, and creating sustainable opportunities. We believe these pillars are the foundation of thriving communities, and we pursue them with relentless determination and a heart for service.

Our journey began in Bangalore, where we ignited change with initiatives like the Education for All campaign, distributing books and hosting workshops to spark learning among children and adults alike. Today, in Jamshedpur, that same spirit drives us forward. Quality education means more than access—it’s about inspiring curiosity and equipping people with skills to overcome challenges, whether it’s a young student mastering numbers or a parent learning a trade. We’re here to make that possible for all.
Essential healthcare is another cornerstone. From our Health Access Camps in Bangalore to events like the Annual Day Picnic for blind and disabled individuals, we strive to ensure no one is sidelined by illness or lack of care. It’s about bringing check-ups to a doorstep or a smile to someone overlooked—small acts with big impact. Likewise, sustainable opportunities mean fostering livelihoods that endure. Whether teaching eco-friendly practices or supporting small enterprises, we aim for growth that respects both people and the planet.
True to our Trust’s promise, we serve everyone—regardless of religion, caste, or ability—because inclusion is our strength. Guided by collaboration and compassion, and led by Mrs. Surosangita Mukherjee, Mr. Shubhojeet Mukherjee, and Mr. Prantik Banerjee, we work hand-in-hand with communities to drive lasting change, from Jamshedpur’s heart to every corner we reach.
